Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic roadmaps for 2026 technology adoption across healthcare, energy, and transportation sectors
- Lead scenario-planning workshops with C-suite executives to forecast market disruptions and opportunities
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype next-gen solutions including quantum computing applications
- Represent the company at global innovation forums and publish thought leadership in industry journals
- Mentor junior futurists and establish KPIs for measuring long-term impact
- Analyze emerging trends in biotech, space exploration, and decentralized systems
- Secure partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field with 8+ years of strategic foresight experience
- Proven track record of developing actionable 5-10 year technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in scenario modeling, trend analysis, and systemic risk assessment
- Published research in futurism or innovation strategy (peer-reviewed journals preferred)
- Certification in Futures Design or Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston)
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex concepts into executive-level presentations
- Experience leading cross-functional teams across cultural and disciplinary boundaries
- Deep understanding of ethical frameworks for emerging technologies
