Responsibilities
- Provide expert technical assistance and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs).
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and security protocols within the Active Directory environment.
- Conduct regular system maintenance, software updates, and hardware upgrades to ensure optimal performance.
- Document technical issues and resolutions to maintain a robust knowledge base for the team.
- Collaborate with management to identify opportunities for process improvement and technical efficiency.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required (Associate degree preferred but not mandatory).
- Proven experience in IT support, help desk, or related technical roles.
- Valid CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification is a strong plus.
- Strong understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose complex technical issues.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a dynamic team.
