Responsibilities
- Monitor network performance and traffic to ensure 99.99% uptime for critical systems during the night shift.
- Diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software, and connectivity issues for internal stakeholders.
- Execute scheduled patch management, security updates, and system backups without disrupting daytime operations.
- Configure and manage firewalls, VPNs, and routers to maintain a secure IT environment.
- Collaborate with the Day Shift team to hand over tickets and document ongoing maintenance tasks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience.
- Mandatory: Must be available and willing to work Night Shift (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols.
- Experience with Cisco or Juniper networking equipment.
- CompTIA Network+ or Cisco CCNA certification is a plus.
