Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages and goods across designated Los Angeles routes using company vehicles
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures for all shipments
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals while adhering to traffic regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and resolve issues professionally
- Collaborate with dispatch team to adjust routes based on real-time traffic conditions
- Ensure proper handling of fragile, temperature-sensitive, or hazardous materials as required
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 2 years)
- Ability to pass mandatory background check and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Los Angeles metropolitan area and surrounding regions
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and delivery tracking apps
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Flexibility to work varying schedules including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Previous delivery or driving experience preferred but not required
