Responsibilities
- Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload freight from trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming stock against purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and proper placement in storage areas.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with precision and speed.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections of warehouse equipment and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety standards and company protocols to ensure a hazard-free environment.
- Documentation: Accurately complete daily logs, checklists, and quality control reports.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required; we provide paid training for the right candidates.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- License: Valid driver's license and forklift certification (if applicable) or willingness to obtain.
- Background: Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
