Responsibilities
- Operate farm machinery including tractors, harvesters, and irrigation systems
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest seasonal crops (vegetables, fruits, grains)
- Apply pesticides and fertilizers according to safety protocols
- Maintain farm equipment and facilities through daily inspections
- Sort, pack, and prepare produce for distribution
- Adhere to all USDA and OSHA safety standards
- Assist with irrigation system maintenance and water management
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of documented farm experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor in varying weather
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Willingness to work extended hours including weekends
- Basic English communication skills
- No prior H2A visa violations
- Clean background check and drug test required
- Ability to obtain H2A visa sponsorship
