Responsibilities
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest seasonal crops (tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers)
- Operate farm machinery including tractors and irrigation systems
- Monitor crop health and implement pest control measures
- Sort, pack, and grade produce according to quality standards
- Maintain farm equipment and facilities
- Adhere to all safety protocols and H2A program regulations
- Assist with greenhouse temperature and humidity control
Qualifications
- Must be eligible for H2A visa program sponsorship
- Minimum 1 year commercial farming experience
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in all weather
- Basic English communication skills
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Willingness to work 40-60 hours/week including weekends
- Experience with crop handling and food safety protocols
- Reliable transportation to Columbus meeting point
