Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including planting, weeding, and harvesting crops according to seasonal schedules.
- Operate farm machinery and heavy equipment, including tractors and harvesters, safely and efficiently.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Assist in the loading, unloading, and sorting of harvested produce and agricultural materials.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring equipment is properly stored and maintained.
- Communicate effectively with crew leaders and supervisors to ensure production goals are met.
- Perform general farm maintenance, including fencing and irrigation system checks.
Qualifications
- Must be eligible for or possess a valid H2A visa (if applicable to the specific role).
- Ability to read and write in basic English to follow safety instructions and daily schedules.
- Physically fit and capable of standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly over long periods.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat and rain.
- Valid government-issued ID or driver's license.
- Previous agricultural or farm labor experience is a plus but not strictly required.
- Must be a team player with a strong work ethic.
