Job Overview
This is a seasonal role requiring physical stamina and a strong work ethic. You will be part of a team responsible for the cultivation and harvest of various crops in the Louisville region.
Responsibilities
- Perform general agricultural tasks including planting, cultivating, weeding, and harvesting crops.
- Operate farm machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently according to safety guidelines.
- Inspect crops for quality, pests, and diseases, reporting findings to supervisors.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, tools, and equipment.
- Load and unload agricultural products for transport and storage.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and work instructions provided by the farm management.
Qualifications
- Ability to work long hours and stand for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to learn new techniques and follow strict safety protocols.
- Basic English proficiency required for effective communication.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs) repeatedly.
- Must be eligible for or willing to obtain H2A visa sponsorship.
