Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026+ strategic foresight framework, analyzing emerging technologies, geopolitical shifts, and socioeconomic trends
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing business models
- Present strategic roadmaps to executive stakeholders with quantifiable impact projections
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs to accelerate R&D
- Design and implement scenario planning exercises for high-uncertainty market environments
- Mentor a team of futurists and innovation specialists
- Author thought leadership publications on industry disruption vectors
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurology, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futures research
- Proven track record translating foresight into commercialized products/services
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of AI, quantum computing, biotech, and climate tech trajectories
- Exceptional communication skills with executive stakeholders
- Experience managing innovation portfolios with $50M+ budgets
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
