Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies, market shifts, and societal trends through 2026+
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for executive decision-making
- Facilitate cross-functional innovation workshops with C-suite stakeholders and industry partners
- Translate future insights into actionable roadmaps for product development and market expansion
- Author thought leadership publications and presentations at global innovation forums
- Manage a portfolio of strategic experiments validating future market opportunities
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight capability within the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-ready business strategies
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and systems thinking methodologies
- Experience with AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, or climate tech trend analysis
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence and persuasive storytelling
- Published thought leadership in futures or innovation publications
- Portfolio demonstrating foresight methodologies and strategic impact
