Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends, market shifts, and societal developments to inform strategic planning through 2026 and beyond
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive technology foresight framework for the organization
- Lead cross-functional innovation projects exploring disruptive technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Collaborate with executive leadership to integrate foresight into corporate strategy and investment decisions
- Present strategic recommendations to stakeholders through compelling narratives and data visualizations
- Build and nurture a network of industry experts, academics, and thought leaders
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of implemented strategies and adapt approaches as needed
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Technology, Business, Futures Studies, or related field (Master's or PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of experience in strategic planning, innovation management, or technology forecasting
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful innovation initiatives
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, IoT, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Strong communication skills with experience presenting to C-level executives
- Experience with scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
