Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technological shifts across AI, biotech, and climate sectors
- Develop comprehensive innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 strategic objectives
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into R&D priorities
- Conduct market viability assessments for emerging technologies with $50M+ investment potential
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Present future-vision frameworks to executive stakeholders and board members
- Author thought leadership publications on disruptive technology trajectories
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record translating future trends into commercialized innovations
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario modeling capabilities
- Experience presenting to C-suite and investment committees
- Certification in Futures Studies or Innovation Management (e.g., CFIP preferred)
