Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends and societal shifts to develop 2026+ strategic frameworks
- Lead cross-functional workshops to co-create innovation roadmaps with engineering, design, and product teams
- Produce high-impact foresight reports and scenario-planning models for executive decision-making
- Partner with venture capital teams to identify and evaluate disruptive startups for acquisition/partnerships
- Represent Horizon Labs at global tech forums (Web Summit, CES, Davos) as a thought leader
- Mentor R&D teams on future-proofing technologies and long-term R&D priorities
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategy, innovation consulting, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 or high-growth tech
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercialized products or ventures
- Deep expertise in at least 3 emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, MBA, or relevant technical field
- Published thought leadership in tech or strategy publications (TechCrunch, HBR, etc.)
- Experience with scenario planning tools (STEEP, Delphi, backcasting)
