You'll leverage cutting-edge methodologies like horizon scanning, scenario planning, and AI-driven trend forecasting to identify disruptive opportunities and mitigate risks in a rapidly evolving world.
Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions through 2026+
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario models for organizational decision-making
- Collaborate with R&D to translate foresight insights into actionable innovation pipelines
- Present future trend analyses to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, think tanks, and industry disruptors
- Design and facilitate foresight workshops with cross-functional teams
- Author thought leadership publications and trend reports
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, Strategic Foresight, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or trend analysis
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend forecasting methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing, Web3)
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience communicating complex futures concepts
- Portfolio demonstrating successful foresight projects and strategic impact
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFIP) preferred
- Experience in tech, healthcare, or sustainability sectors preferred
