Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across biotech, AI, quantum computing, and climate tech sectors
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 clients using scenario planning frameworks
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed future-thinking into product development cycles
- Author high-impact foresight reports with actionable recommendations for executive leadership
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Translate complex future scenarios into compelling narratives for diverse stakeholder audiences
- Champion innovation culture through internal foresight training and thought leadership
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Innovation, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist role at tech-forward organizations
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend forecasting methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or foresight academy)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future strategy implementations
- Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable strategic insights
