Responsibilities
- Forecast technology and societal trends through horizon scanning, scenario planning, and quantitative modeling
- Develop innovation frameworks that translate future insights into product roadmaps and business opportunities
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on emerging technology adoption strategies
- Produce high-impact foresight reports and executive briefings for C-suite and board members
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, think tanks, and global innovation hubs
- Drive organizational culture shifts to embed future-oriented thinking across all departments
- Oversee the implementation of emerging technology pilots and validate market readiness
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology strategy roles
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies and scenario planning frameworks
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through organizational transformation
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (required)
