Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts with 5-10 year impact
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks to evaluate disruptive innovations and market convergence
- Produce scenario-planning models for enterprise risk mitigation and opportunity capture
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed future-thinking into product development cycles
- Present visionary insights to executive stakeholders and industry conferences
- Maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and academic researchers
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and technology forecasting
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts into actionable strategies
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis, cross-impact matrices)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ major innovation initiatives launched from foresight insights
