Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain horizon-scanning frameworks identifying disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026-2030 markets
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and design teams to prototype future-state solutions
- Deliver executive briefings and trend forecasts to Fortune 500 leadership teams
- Architect strategic roadmaps for digital transformation and market disruption initiatives
- Establish KPIs and impact metrics for innovation portfolios
- Partner with venture capital teams to identify and scout breakthrough startups
- Author thought leadership reports published in MIT Tech Review and Harvard Business Review
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate R&D leadership
- Proven track record of influencing enterprise-level strategy with quantifiable ROI
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and technology adoption curves
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex futures into executable strategy
- Portfolio of published trend forecasts or innovation frameworks
- Experience with Delphi methodology and causal layered analysis
