Responsibilities
- Develop and publish annual 'Future Horizons' reports analyzing disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026
- Design strategic innovation roadmaps for quantum computing, synthetic biology, and neurotech adoption
- Lead scenario-planning workshops with executive teams to prepare for industry disruption
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs for trend validation
- Oversee implementation of emerging tech pilots with measurable ROI targets
- Present future-vision frameworks to investors, boards, and industry conferences
- Mentor junior futurists in trend synthesis and strategic foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Policy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of published trend analyses adopted by Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI ethics
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to connect disparate technological and social signals
- Experience with scenario planning frameworks (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
