Responsibilities

- Conduct horizon scanning and scenario planning for emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, AR/VR)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and product teams
- Translate complex future scenarios into actionable business strategies and product roadmaps
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and research labs
- Present future-focused insights to executive leadership and investors
- Mentor innovation teams in strategic foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or equivalent with 8+ years experience
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies in Fortune 500 environments
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence landscapes
- Exceptional storytelling skills for communicating complex future concepts
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston) preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating successful innovation strategy implementation
- Experience with patent strategy and IP commercialization
