- Design strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government labs to accelerate innovation
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to C-suite executives and investment committees
- Establish ethical frameworks for emerging technologies ensuring responsible development and deployment
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting future technology adoption
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with proven track record in emerging tech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related quantitative field
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, or synthetic biology
- Published thought leadership in technology foresight or innovation strategy
- Experience securing $10M+ in R&D funding or venture capital for futuristic projects
- Proficiency in technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
