Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology adoption frameworks for AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into strategic roadmaps
- Present technology forecasts to executive leadership and board members with data-driven recommendations
- Establish KPIs for innovation portfolio performance and technology readiness levels
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and emerging tech startups
- Author thought leadership publications on industry disruption vectors
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in technology strategy, R&D management, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record in forecasting commercial viability of emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML systems, quantum applications, synthetic biology, or neuromorphic computing
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Exceptional executive communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts
- Experience building innovation pipelines in Fortune 500 or high-growth startups
- Certification in technology foresight methodologies (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method)
- Portfolio demonstrating published research or implemented future-tech strategies
