Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional discovery initiatives to identify emerging technologies with transformative potential (2026+ horizon)
- Develop and execute technology roadmaps prioritizing R&D investments in quantum algorithms, neuromorphic computing, and decentralized AI
- Architect governance frameworks for ethical AI deployment and responsible innovation
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and global tech consortia
- Present disruption analyses and technology forecasts to the executive board and investors
- Mentor innovation teams in rapid prototyping and market validation methodologies
- Drive patent strategy and intellectual property portfolio expansion
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech innovation
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neuromorphic systems, or decentralized AI
- Proven track record of commercializing breakthrough technologies
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
