Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market evolution and company vision
- Lead R&D initiatives in emerging fields (quantum AI, bio-integrated systems, autonomous infrastructure)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 2026+ market potential
- Partner with product teams to translate futuristic concepts into commercial products
- Build and lead a specialized innovation lab focused on next-generation technology validation
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board of directors
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or innovation leadership at Fortune 500/tech scale
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AI ethics, neurotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching future-focused initiatives with measurable ROI
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep understanding of global tech policy and regulatory landscapes
- Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation preferred
