What You'll Achieve:
- Lead horizon scanning and technology roadmapping for 2026-2030
- Drive R&D initiatives in quantum computing, AI ethics, and sustainable tech
- Establish innovation partnerships with leading research institutions
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, bio-integrated systems) to identify strategic opportunities
- Develop and maintain a 5-year technology adoption roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Conduct competitive intelligence analysis in next-gen tech domains
- Present technology briefings to executive leadership and external partners
- Manage a $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Champion ethical technology frameworks and responsible innovation practices
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or emerging tech consulting
- Proven track record of implementing future-forward tech roadmaps
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI governance, or sustainable tech
- Strong analytical skills with experience in scenario planning and trend analysis
- Certification in technology foresight (e.g., FTI, APF) or equivalent experience
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience to executive audiences
- Master's degree in Technology Management, Engineering, or related field
- Experience managing innovation budgets exceeding $3M annually
