Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech, AI ethics) with 3-5 year impact analysis
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating breakthrough innovations into product development pipelines
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs for future-focused R&D
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and investors
- Design frameworks for ethical technology adoption and responsible innovation practices
- Manage cross-functional teams to prototype future-facing solutions and validate market readiness
- Author thought leadership publications on technology evolution and industry disruption
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Management, Engineering, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years experience in strategic technology planning or innovation consulting
- Proven track record identifying and commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two future-critical domains (e.g., quantum systems, synthetic biology, neuromorphic computing)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Strong network within tech innovation ecosystems and venture capital communities
- Experience developing scenarios for technological disruption and strategic pivots
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning)
