You'll lead cross-functional initiatives to identify emerging opportunities, assess disruptive technologies, and develop 3-5 year roadmaps that align with our mission to revolutionize human-machine interaction. Collaborate with C-suite executives to translate technological possibilities into market-ready innovations.
Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for breakthrough technologies with 2026+ relevance (quantum AI, neuromorphic computing, etc.)
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating emerging tech into core business operations
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Conduct competitive analysis and technology ecosystem mapping
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investors
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets for experimental projects
- Build and lead a specialized technology foresight team
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech roles
- Deep expertise in AI, quantum computing, or biotech convergence
- Proven track record of launching futuristic products/services
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong stakeholder management across technical and non-technical domains
- Published thought leadership in future tech publications
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python, R, etc.)
