Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026+ technology strategy roadmap aligned with market trends and organizational vision
- Lead horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, sustainable energy) with disruptive potential
- Collaborate with R&D, product, and executive teams to integrate future innovations into current product pipelines
- Conduct scenario planning and risk analysis for technological disruptions
- Present strategic insights to C-suite and board members with data-driven recommendations
- Build and maintain partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Mentor cross-functional teams on future technology adoption and implementation
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in technology strategy, innovation management, or future-focused R&D
- Proven track record in emerging technology assessment and roadmap development
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (AI/ML, quantum computing, AR/VR, sustainable tech)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Exceptional communication skills for translating vision to stakeholders at all levels
- Master's degree in relevant field (MBA, Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent experience
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through technological transformation
- Certification in strategic foresight or technology innovation management preferred
