Responsibilities
- Lead development of 3-5 year technology strategy aligning with market evolution and business objectives
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and emerging trends (2026+ focus)
- Design frameworks for evaluating and integrating next-gen innovations (quantum, AGI, biotech)
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and external stakeholders
- Build partnerships with research institutions and tech incubators
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting tech deployment
- Mentor innovation teams in future-proofing methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist roles
- Deep expertise in emerging tech trends (quantum computing, AGI, Web3)
- Proven track record of translating future vision into executable plans
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting
- Strong stakeholder management across global organizations
- Publishing/public speaking background in tech innovation
- Certification in strategic foresight or technology management preferred
