Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum AI, biotech interfaces)
- Analyze emerging tech disruptions (Web3.0, neuromorphic chips) and recommend strategic pivots
- Present technology forecasts to executive stakeholders and investors
- Establish ethical frameworks for AI deployment and digital transformation
- Manage $2M+ R&D budget for experimental technology initiatives
- Partner with academic institutions to identify breakthrough research opportunities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 experience
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of launching products with 7-figure revenue impact
- Certified in Futures Thinking (e.g., CFTE, WFS) or equivalent strategic foresight training
- Advanced degree in Technology Management, Engineering, or related field
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ technology transformation case studies
- Expertise in regulatory compliance for emerging technologies (GDPR, CCPA, FTC AI guidelines)
- Fluency in technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
