Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 market projections
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum AI, neural interfaces, and climate-positive tech
- Partner with C-suite to integrate emerging technologies into core business strategy
- Manage $50M+ innovation budgets and vendor ecosystems
- Present strategic frameworks to investors and industry boards
- Mentor cross-disciplinary teams of engineers and futurists
- Author thought leadership for IEEE and MIT Technology Review
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic tech roles with 5+ at executive level
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or related field (or equivalent innovation impact)
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Proven track record scaling tech ventures to $1B+ valuation
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, biotech, AI, etc.)
- Experience securing federal grants and DARPA partnerships
- Fluency in Mandarin and Spanish for global stakeholder engagement
