Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 technology strategy aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling emerging technologies (quantum, AR/VR, neural interfaces)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Establish KPIs and frameworks for measuring innovation ROI and technology adoption impact
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry leaders
- Present technology roadmaps to C-suite executives and board members
- Mentor junior innovation specialists and cultivate a culture of experimental thinking
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or innovation leadership with proven impact on future-oriented initiatives
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with focus on emerging tech
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, decentralized systems, or climate tech
- Track record of launching successful products with 3+ year market vision
- Certified Futurist (CFP) or equivalent foresight methodology training
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Experience with agile innovation frameworks (e.g., Lean Startup, Design Thinking)
- Portfolio demonstrating technology foresight projects with measurable outcomes
