- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, AGI, biotech) and assess commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and design teams
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech startups
- Present futuristic technology proposals to executive stakeholders and investors
- Establish KPIs for measuring technology adoption and ROI for future-facing initiatives
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism; PhD preferred
- 8+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching futuristic products or services
- Expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, AI ethics, climate tech
- Certification in Futures Studies or Strategic Foresight (e.g., from WFS or APF)
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with visualization tools (Tableau, D3.js)
- Experience securing $1M+ innovation budgets
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism (IEEE, MIT Tech Review)
