Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AI governance)
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate next-gen tech solutions
- Establish ethical frameworks for AI/automation deployment across industries
- Forge partnerships with global research institutions and government innovation labs
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies before mainstream adoption
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets with measurable ROI metrics
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics
- 10+ years in strategic tech planning with Fortune 500 companies
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals on emerging tech trends
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, or bio-integrated systems
- Proven track record of launching award-winning innovation initiatives
- Fluency in Mandarin, Japanese, or German (for global collaboration)
- Security clearance (preferred) for classified R&D projects
