Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, blockchain, biotech) to identify strategic opportunities for 2026 market leadership
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market trends
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate next-gen solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investment committees
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortia
- Author thought leadership publications and represent the company at global tech forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or emerging technology consulting
- Proven track record in developing and executing technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in at least three emerging technology domains (AI, quantum, blockchain, AR/VR)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with technology focus
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management (e.g., Foresight Practitioner)
- Demonstrated success in securing $5M+ innovation budgets or venture funding
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts into business strategy
