- Analyze emerging tech patents and academic research to identify disruptive opportunities
- Partner with product teams to embed future-proof architecture in current development cycles
- Present strategic blueprints to C-suite and industry consortiums
- Manage $2M+ R&D budget for experimental tech incubation
- Coordinate with global innovation hubs for real-time trend forecasting
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 or scale-up experience
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum computing, AGI, or synthetic biology
- Proven track record of launching future-ready products (post-2020)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
- Published research on tech disruption or AI ethics
- Experience with decentralized governance models and DAO structures
- Strong network within tech innovation ecosystems (Y Combinator, IEEE, etc.)
