Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology strategies aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify breakthrough opportunities in nascent sectors
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate future tech into corporate vision
- Present strategic roadmaps and investment proposals to stakeholders
- Maintain competitive intelligence through global tech ecosystem analysis
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 or high-growth startups
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, advanced robotics, or synthetic biology
- Certified Futurist (CF) or equivalent foresight methodology training
- Exceptional communication skills for executive and technical audiences
- Experience with agile development and rapid prototyping methodologies
