Responsibilities
- Research and forecast emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, neuro interfaces) with 2026 commercialization focus
- Develop cross-functional technology roadmaps aligning with market disruption opportunities
- Lead strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers for collaborative innovation
- Present technology impact assessments and adoption strategies to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage pilot programs for breakthrough technologies with $5M+ annual innovation budget
- Anticipate geopolitical/regulatory shifts affecting global tech deployment
- Mentor junior strategists and publish industry thought leadership pieces
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with PhD preferred
- 8+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies in Fortune 500 environments
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Deep understanding of AI, blockchain, IoT, and quantum computing ecosystems
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presentation experience
- Published research or patents in future technologies (2019-2024)
