- Conduct horizon scanning for disruptive technologies (quantum, AI, neurotech)
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to the executive board
- Oversee pilot programs for next-gen solutions with measurable ROI
- Drive cultural adoption of future-thinking methodologies across departments
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Innovation
- 8+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Executive-level communication with board presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in technology forecasting
- Experience scaling innovation initiatives from concept to market
