Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive technology roadmap for 2026-2030, aligning with company vision
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, AI ethics frameworks)
- Architect proof-of-concept projects for disruptive innovations with $1M+ annual R&D budget
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board members quarterly
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators for early-stage tech adoption
- Build and lead a cross-functional innovation task force of 8+ specialists
- Author thought leadership publications on technology futures and their societal impact
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology roles with 5+ years in emerging tech evaluation
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Proven track record of launching at least two disruptive technologies
- Expertise in at least three emerging domains: quantum computing, AR/VR ecosystems, or decentralized AI
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to model complex technological scenarios
- Experience with ethical technology governance frameworks (IEEE 7000, ISO 24014)
- Published author or frequent speaker at global tech conferences
