Responsibilities
- Design and execute technology roadmaps for 2026+ product ecosystems
- Identify and validate emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, neurotech)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, engineering, and design teams
- Develop patent-pending frameworks for next-gen human-machine interfaces
- Conduct competitive analysis in emerging tech markets and regulatory landscapes
- Present strategic visions to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Mentor junior futurists in technology forecasting methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech roles with 5+ in future technologies
- Proven track record of launching disruptive products post-2020
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (blockchain, biotech, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published research in IEEE Nature or equivalent tier journals
- Proficiency in technology forecasting tools (Delphi, Horizon scanning)
- Strong network within global innovation ecosystems
- Experience scaling agile methodologies for R&D initiatives
