Responsibilities
- Architect 5-10 year technology roadmaps for quantum computing, AI, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives with $50M+ annual innovation budgets
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies through academic partnerships and venture scouting
- Develop patent portfolios and IP strategies for next-gen applications
- Present strategic frameworks to C-suite executives and board members
- Collaborate with UN Technology Foresight groups and global innovation councils
- Mentor junior futurists through our Future Leaders program
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or related field with 8+ years industry experience
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (3+ successful launches)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum algorithms, neural interfaces, or decentralized systems
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, or equivalent)
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on technology transformation
- Certification in Futures Studies or Technology Foresight methodologies
- Fluency in Mandarin, Spanish, or Arabic for global stakeholder engagement
