- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum, AI, Web3) to identify competitive advantages
- Present strategic recommendations to stakeholders with data-driven ROI projections
- Oversee implementation of pilot programs for breakthrough technologies
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Monitor geopolitical and environmental factors affecting tech deployment
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/blockchain)
- Proven track record of launching products with $50M+ revenue impact
- Certified Futurist (CF) or similar foresight methodology training
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting frameworks
- Demonstrated success in managing R&D budgets exceeding $10M
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystems
