Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify breakthrough technologies with 3-5 year commercial viability
- Develop and maintain technology roadmaps aligned with organizational goals
- Conduct market analysis and competitive assessments of emerging technologies
- Collaborate with engineering teams to prototype and validate novel solutions
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and innovation hubs
- Drive innovation workshops and hackathons to foster internal ideation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation management
- Proven track record in emerging technology adoption (AI, IoT, quantum)
- Expertise in technology forecasting and scenario planning methodologies
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making approach
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience with technology commercialization and go-to-market strategies
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management preferred
