Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and technology roadmapping for 2026+ innovation cycles
- Develop strategic frameworks for integrating quantum computing, generative AI, and Web3.0
- Conduct competitive analysis in emerging tech ecosystems (AI ethics, neurotech, climate tech)
- Partner with product teams to commercialize prototype technologies
- Present technology foresight briefings to executive leadership and investors
- Manage cross-functional R&D sprints with labs and academic institutions
- Author thought leadership on future tech policy and societal impact
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, blockchain, biotech)
- Proven track record of launching tech-driven products/services
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Exceptional data visualization and scenario modeling skills
- Strong network within Silicon Valley innovation ecosystems
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management (preferred)
