Responsibilities
- Architect scalable frameworks for quantum-AI hybrid systems targeting 2026 commercial deployment
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen web3 infrastructure and decentralized applications
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (neuromorphic chips, synthetic biology interfaces) for strategic integration
- Develop patent-pending solutions for autonomous systems and predictive analytics
- Present roadmaps to C-suite executives and venture partners securing $50M+ in R&D funding
- Mentor engineers in ethical AI development and responsible innovation practices
- Collaborate with MIT and Stanford research labs on 5-year technology horizon studies
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Engineering, or related field (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 8+ years in R&D leadership with proven track record of shipping breakthrough technologies
- Expertise in at least three of: quantum machine learning, blockchain consensus algorithms, neuromorphic computing, or bio-digital interfaces
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, IEEE Transactions) or equivalent industry impact
- Experience securing $10M+ in research grants or venture funding for speculative projects
- Deep understanding of ethical frameworks for emerging technologies and regulatory landscapes
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ technologies deployed at enterprise scale
