Responsibilities
- Design and execute the 2026 technology innovation strategy with measurable KPIs
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum computing, synthetic biology, and neural interfaces
- Collaborate with MIT, Stanford, and NASA partners on cutting-edge projects
- Manage $2M+ annual innovation budget with ROI-focused allocation
- Mentor 12-person cross-disciplinary team of PhD researchers and engineers
- Develop patentable IP with 15+ annual submissions goal
- Present strategic roadmaps to C-suite and board quarterly
- Organize annual Future Tech Summit for industry thought leadership
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or Bioengineering with 10+ years industry experience
- Proven track record shipping commercialized AI/quantum products
- Expertise in emerging tech ethics frameworks and regulatory compliance
- Strong publication record in Nature/Science journals or equivalent
- Experience leading teams of 15+ researchers with $5M+ budgets
- Deep knowledge of DARPA/IARPA funding mechanisms
- Fluency in Python, C++, and quantum programming languages
- Global network connections in tech innovation ecosystems
