Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technological vision roadmap, aligning with long-term business objectives
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum AI, biotech convergence, neuro interfaces)
- Design strategic partnerships with academia, startups, and Fortune 500 R&D labs
- Present futuristic scenarios to stakeholders through compelling data visualizations and narrative frameworks
- Oversee pilot programs for breakthrough technologies with 5-year commercialization plans
- Establish KPIs to measure innovation velocity and market disruption potential
- Mentor a team of futurists and technology analysts
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in futurism or innovation leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (quantum, AI, or biotech)
- Deep expertise in technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning)
- Advanced degree in Technology Management, Systems Engineering, or Futurism
- Published thought leadership on technological disruption (whitepapers, patents, or keynotes)
- Experience securing $10M+ innovation budgets and managing cross-continental R&D teams
- Proficiency in strategic foresight tools (Gartner Hype Cycle, STEEP analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating transformational impact through technology adoption
