Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Lead research initiatives in emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech convergence)
- Identify and evaluate disruptive innovation opportunities with $50M+ market potential
- Forge strategic partnerships with Fortune 500 companies and academic institutions
- Present technology forecasts to executive stakeholders and investment committees
- Build and lead a high-performance innovation team of 15+ specialists
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D budget through compelling business cases
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ in executive leadership roles
- Proven track record in emerging tech commercialization (AI/quantum/biotech)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation (Harvard/MIT/Stanford preferred)
- Experience managing $10M+ R&D budgets and cross-functional teams
- Deep network with Silicon Valley VCs and Fortune 500 CTOs
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Fluency in agile development and DevOps practices
